We created Andrea's Closet because we thought every sick child should have access to a closet full of new toys.

~Traci Brunk,
Andrea's mom

Kenny co-founded Andrea’s Closet in 2002, six months after losing his daughter, Andrea, to cancer. As president and director of the organization, he manages the day-to-day operations, relying on his faith in Christ for guidance and strength.

Kenny likes to be challenged in everything he does and believes anything is possible. His vision is to bring Andrea’s Closet to every hospital in America, so that no sick child will ever have to feel hopeless or alone.

Kenny is the recipient of the 2009 Hon Kachina Volunteer Award, the 2008 George Washington Metal from the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge, the 2006 Scottsdale Jaycees Outstanding Young Arizonan Award, and the Central Arizona Project President's Award for Community Service from 2004 to 2008. In 2005 he was featured in Arizona Foothills Magazine as one of their "8 Greats," Arizonans on the brink of superstardom.

A native to Arizona, Kenny, enjoys the outdoors and loves to travel. He has been married 20 years to his wife, Traci, whom he met in the 5th grade. He is father to three children, Nick, Kassidi and Andrea, who died at the age of 10.
